What if I need to cancel my appointment, or forget to show up?
WE REQUIRE 24 HOURS NOTICE ON CANCELATIONS , AS YOUR APPOINTMENT TIME IS RESERVED JUST FOR YOU. IF YOU CANCEL YOUR APPOINMENT LESS THAN 24 HOURS PRIOR YOU WILL BE CHARGED A $20.00 FEE.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, e-transfer, cheques and debit/credit cards.
If you pay us by interact e-transfer, please make your payments within 3 calendar days after your appointment.

I have extended health benefits that cover physiotherapy. Do you accept it?
Yes. Our service is covered by your physiotherapy extended health benefits according with your plan. We will provide you with a receipt to submit to your insurance company, so you can be reimbursed for any amount up to your coverage limit.
We are not currently set up to treat WSIB or MVA claims, and as such we cannot bill WSIB or your motor vehicle insurance for your treatment. If you still choose to have treatment at Wellness Place, please note that you will be responsible for the treatment cost, and we are not responsible for any fees that are not re-reimbursed by WSIB or your motor vehicle insurance company.
Do I need a doctor's referral?
As direct-access healthcare professionals, physiotherapists do not require a doctor’s referral. This means that anyone can self-refer to have access to a physiotherapist. HOWEVER, some extended health care providers require a doctor’s referral in order to reimburse you for physical therapy services. In most cases, a referral is not required, but is recommended to call your provider to confirm your coverage amount and determine if a referral is required.
